North Platte Orthopedic & Sports Medicine
One of North Platte’s newest Medical Office Building, North Platte Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine is designed for five doctors with schedules that stager, (up to three doctors will be there at one time). With their practices covering a large portion of Western Nebraska, the doctors spend three days a week in North Platte while traveling to several communities during the remaining days.
The new building has 13,800 SF, 12,000 SF on the main level, and is designed with nine exam rooms, one education/exam room, two casting rooms, two x-ray rooms, an extremity M.R.I. room, five doctor offices, conference room, central business area and check-in areas with private spaces for billing and scheduling.
The doctors work closely with Great Plains Regional Medical Center who provide facilities for surgery, larger M.R.I.’s, and additional imaging services.
All areas of the new building were designed for easy access for patients with limited mobility. Patient confidentiality also was taken into account throughout the facility, from noise transfer between rooms, to special considerations for the sealing of doors and the design of the mechanical system.
